Negotiations reopeners for 2027-2029 Collective Bargaining Agreement<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cuesta College Federation of Teachers requests that the following articles of the Collective Bargaining Agreement be reopened for negotiations and to be included in the new 2027-2029 contract.<\/p>\n

  1. Article 2: composition of bargaining unit<\/li>\n
  2. Article 4 and Appendices B1-B10\n
      \n
    1. Salary, compensation, and fringe benefits.<\/li>\n
    2. Adjustment to pay for faculty participation in dual enrollment courses<\/li>\n
    3. CPL coordinator, requested by Academic Senate Council<\/li>\n
    4. Extension of PT faculty optional office hour pool<\/li>\n
    5. Increase amount that Prof development gets for faculty travel to conferences, or another avenue for conference funds<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    6. Article 5\n

      1. Adjustments to pay for faculty teaching at CMC<\/li>\n
      2. Change to lab loading<\/li>\n
      3. Further define \u201ccommittee\/governance\u201d activities<\/li>\n
      4. Modifications to Level 2 assignment rights (5.12.3)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      5. Article 6\n

        1. Sabbatical leave<\/li>\n
        2. Parental leave<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        3. Article 7: minor updates to Evaluations timeline and process as needed based on experience this semester.<\/li>\n
        4. Article 11: reopen only for adjustments related to Gov 2.0 if necessary<\/li>\n
