The TAs go into effect once they are ratified by the union membership and approved by the trustees.\u00a0 CCFT is presenting the following TAs for ratification with a brief description and link to related documents that include the signed clean TA (pdf) and a redline that shows how the previous version was altered (MS Word).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>1. TA 1: Article 5.12.2.2 load limit for PT faculty<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Now indicates that the 67% loading rule is from the State Ed code and not subject to local bargaining. Ancillary duties do not count towards 67% rule to maximize what PT faculty can earn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ccft.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/TA-1-Article-5.12.2.2-add-Ed-Code-lang-to-67-rule-Tentative-Agreement-signed.pdf\">TA 1 clean<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ccft.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/TA-1-Article-5.12.2.2-67-rule-comparison-version.docx\">TA 1 redline<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>2. TA 8: Article 4.8 Faculty travel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">SLO County General Service Administration (GSA) per diem rates are generally among the highest in the country, the highest are only $6 per day more than SLO. Current rate is $86 for a full day. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa.gov\/travel\/plan-book\/per-diem-rates\/per-diem-rates-results?action=perdiems_report&amp;fiscal_year=2025&amp;state=CA&amp;city=San%20Luis%20Obispo&amp;zip=93401\">See full rates here<\/a>. Lodging rate is still paid at cost of lodging, not GSA. We\u2019ll never have to renegotiate rates again as GSA is updated each year. This will be easier for staff in Fiscal, too.
